The Epic Story begins... part 2

Monday, December 19, 2011

After collecting ourselves together (2 days), it's now time to get things sorted.

As some of you may know, we were planning to go to Czech for the next phase of our lives. Thus now, everything needs to be brought up to speed, all our paperworks especially mine, needs to be sorted.

More info on Malaysian marrying a Czech (will be written soon)

We weren't prepared for the public, so we only kept it to a very minimum, just to have enough support and people praying for us. Talking about it was just too raw than…

Less than 10 days, we packed our lives in Malaysia and headed for Czech. For a second opinion and treatment to be done.

The urologist was seen and immediately the op (aka orchiectomy) is scheduled the very next day. The worst outcome came to realization as the opinion was the same as in Malaysia.

About 4 inches bikini line scar and a ball less was the result of it. More info on Testicular Cancer will be written soon.

One thing good about Czech's healthcare is that everything is free, even hospital stay. Thus the decision to get treatment here. Only a minimal amount of like CZK 60/day of hospital stay. BUT it will not last long, as it is burdening the government budget. PLUS hospitals tend to over stay their patients, as they can get more budget out of it. That is why Pavel had to stay for 5 days in the hospital, when everything was perfectly fine.

Pavel's recovery took about a week before he could start walking properly again.

The op was successful and had no complications.

Now just to wait for the results of the biopsy.

to be continued…

The Epic Story begins… (part 1)

Note: I will try to write a concise post on Testicular Cancer, Healthy Diet, Sperm Bank - so that all of you out there are made aware of it. After all I've done a lot of research and reading already. If you need more info on top of it, please feel free to drop me a note.
